Filipino sensations set to rock Vancouver

Some of the biggest names in the Filipino entertainment world will perform at the Glad Tidings Auditorium in Vancouver on April 10.
Leading the show is La Diva, a Filipino R&B pop girl group which wooed the crowd at the recent the Pacqiao/ Cotto boxing match in Las Vegas Nevada.
The group came together after competing at the Pinoy Pop Superstar show.
The La Diva will be performing along side with 2008 Canadian Idol Finalist Ramil Omosura and comedian Blakdyak.
With  his chart-topping singles “Good Boy” and “Noon at Ngayon” and “Modelong Charing”, Blakdyak has become the first local solo reggae act to achieve tremendous success in the entertainment field.
Recently, Blakdyak (Joey Formaran in real life) received a Platinum Record Award for his first album “Noon at Ngayon”. Prior to receiving this award, the prestigious Awit Awards concluded him the Best Novelty Act awardee and Best New Male Performer winner.
Ramil Omosura has inspired and encouraged local artists to focus on their dreams and aspirations in life, and to continue to pursue them. 
The songs from his album, “One Minute”, recorded and produced by him in 2008 and released in the Philippines was his first debut album. With this release, was recognized by the Philippines Music Award as Best New Male Artist.
This event will also highlight local talent from Vancouver.
