Designer Of The Day: Elena Vera Stellaa

1. Name : My name is Elena Vera Stellaa

2. Hometown : I was born in Lamezia Terme, Catanzaro Italy.

3. School : I’ve attended the “University of  Florence” were I studied  “Literature and Philosophy” and afterwards I’ve obtained  a Master in “Custom and Fashion” in cooperation with the “F. I. T.” of New York (fashion Institute of Technology).

4. Who would you like to wear your designs? Everybody!!! Both fashion stars and real, simple people. I think it’s more rewarding to dress real people and more difficult too.

5. What inspired you to enter the fashion industry? Since I was child I dreamed of becoming a fashion designer. I used to make my dolls a lot of dresses, clothes…I think fashion is in my blood!!!

6. What is your favorite fabric? I don’t have a favorite  fabric...It depends on the period, season, collection… I like Italian style : the elegance and the attention to details. I like our traditional tailoring, too.

7. What is the theme of your show? “ Hollywood and the great actresses of the past!!! You can find both luxury and elegance, refinement and attention to details, tradition and innovation…

8. 1.If one of your outfits was a drink, what would you call it? Champagne! Simple and...alcoholic! It’s Essential and refined….It’s Chic but at the same time everyone can have it!!

9. Do you have any advice for aspiring fashion designers? Be determined!!! Believe in your dream….and be patient!!! Your time will come….
