Film fave Anne Curtis has busy year ahead

After celebrating her 24th birthday last week, award-winning Filipina actress Anne Curtis is looking forward to more exciting stuff ahead in 2009.

"Every year is a different experience. I want to travel around the world. My birthday wish is for this to become a great year and that I have more work for sure," she shared during her launch as Greenwich’s newest celebrity endorser.

Most recently noticed for her dramatic performance in the 2008 Metro Manila Film Fest entry Baler, Curtis says she feels nothing but gratitude towards everybody at the moment.

"I just want to give a big ‘thank you’ to all my friends and all my fans and even my family for supporting me, for getting me through the bad times and most definitely through the good times. Thank you so much. I’m still on a high. I’m still super happy about it. Every time I walk into the living room and I see the award, I’m like, ‘Oooh, I have an award!’ For me, that award goes to show that people are recognizing the hard work I did throughout the year. That’s a big accomplishment for me to know that people are keeping notice of what I love to do," she adds.

With a TV series and other showbiz projects lined up, Anne knows she’s in for a hectic year. But she still makes time to be with her friends when she can.

"We enjoy eating, traveling, doing so many things like going on out of town vacations. Everything you can do with your friends. And during this time in my life, being with my best friend is what I enjoy the most. I like traveling with my friends. This year, we’ll be going to Europe, we’ll be traveling to Paris," she reveals.

Her friendly and outgoing personality is also part of the reason why Anne has become a successful showbiz personality with multiple endorsements.

"I’m just so blessed and honored and I’m so happy for their campaign which is all about friendship, best friends and having the best ever time of your life.

It’s my personality so I was just super happy, it’s like I’m just being myself. I’m very much a pasta girl so it was perfect for me. Me and my friends, we all love to eat together. I’m just so happy right now so it’s very fitting I’m doing this campaign for Greenwich is really effortless." she adds.

This positive attitude is also something that Anne will be looking for in the next man who enters her life.

"He definitely has to be a fun and outgoing person like me. Someone who enjoys doing the best ever things that I love to do," she says.

When it comes to intrigues involving her and other guys, Anne says she feels stronger now to face nasty gossip.

"I’ve dealt na with worse issues before so I’ll just brush it off my shoulder na lang. Wala yun. Basta for me, I’ve already faced things that are even worse before. So it’s really nothing," she says.
