Gwendolyn Ruais on her way to London

Gwendolyn Ruais was crowned Miss World Philippines during the coronation held last weekend at the Philippine International Convention Center (PICC) in Pasay City.
She will be representing the Philippines in the Miss World competition in London on November 6.
The 21-year-old Filipino-French bested 24 other candidates representing different parts of the country.
Helen Nicolette Henson was named 1st Princess. Interestingly, Nicoeltte also finished 1st runner-up at last year’s Binibining Pilipinas.
Martha Chloe McCully is 2nd Princess; Ma. Paula Bianca Paz is 3rd Princess; and Jaysel Arrozal is 4th Princess.
Aside from winning the title Miss World Philippines, Gwendolyn was also awarded Best In Swimsuit.
As the winner of Miss World Philippines, Gwendolyn won one million pesos cash prize, a condo unit, and other fabulous prizes.
Gwendolyn, who was a finalist at last year’s Binibining Pilipinas, will also represent the Philippines in the 61st edition of Miss World pageant to be held on November 6, 2011 in London.
