Vancouver welcomes motorcycle show

The 2012 Vancouver Motorcycle Show opens this week on Thursday January 19 and runs through until the 22nd at the Tradex Exhibition Centre in Abbotsford.
This year’s event features top Enduro-X riders, spectacular stunters, guest speakers who have travelled to the depths of Africa and South America with just their bikes as well as the top new models and innovations for 2012.
Thursday is Vintage Night, featuring beautifully restored race bikes from the ‘30s to the ‘70s.
Friday and Saturday night are Rock, Roll & Race Nights with two performances by Juno award-winning Clayton Bellamy with Keith Diamond and the Rockets.
The Westcoast Freestyle Stunt Team will be performing throughout the event from Thursday through Sunday.
Speakers at the event include Adrienne Denham who travelled off-road for nearly seven months covering 30,000 kilometres of South America and Tory Hett, a member of the Enduro-X riders. She is the only Canadian female racer to complete the ISDE race (International Six Day Enduro).
