Leo Salonga says she’s still married

Tony Award-winning singer and actress Lea Salonga denied recent reports saying that she and her husband Rob Chien have separated.
In an exclusive interview with “The Buzz,” Salonga said Chien is very supportive of all her projects.
“We’re fine. The one thing I can say about my husband though is how incredibly supportive he is of me,” she said.
Salonga said Chien understands that her job involves traveling to other countries.
“He understands why I go away. He doesn’t always like what happens because minsan kahit nandito ako sa Pilipinas, hindi rin kami nagkikita kasi marami rin akong trabahong natatanggap. Pero blessings din iyon eh, so naiintindihan niya,” she said.
Last year, Salonga and Chien were plagued by rumors saying that they have parted ways. Salonga has consistently denied the said rumors.
Salonga married Chien, a Chinese-Japanese executive of Ambient Media, in 2004.
The two met while Salonga was doing “Flower Drum Song” in the United States.
Two years after their wedding, Salonga gave birth to their daughter Nicole.
