Trekkies set to invade Vancouver

Star Trek fans will celebrate 45 years of Star Trek with a weekend of everything “Trek” as Creation Entertainment brings The Official Star Trek Convention: The Celebration of the 45th Anniversary to Vancouver, Friday through Sunday, June 10, 11, & 12.
The event will be held at the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre, 1088 Burrand Street.
This special three-day weekend will feature an array of Star Trek stars, non-stop events, parties, contests, panels, music, performances, autographs and photo ops.
Some extra surprises will include the live appearance of the Klingon Duras Sisters together for the very first time in Canada and a character make-up demonstration with Star Trek SFX makeup artist John Paladin.
The Official Star Trek Convention will be highlighted by in-person appearances on stage by a Starfleet worthy line-up of Star Trek celebrities. On Saturday appearances will be made by the Star Trek legends George Takei (Sulu) and Nichelle Nichols (Lt. Uhura), and the evil Klingon Duras Sisters Gwynyth Walsh (B’Etor) and Barbara March (Lursa).
