Diwali lights up Lougheed Centre

On Saturday, October 24th, Lougheed Town Centre will be celebrating “Diwali”, the Festival of Lights.
Events starts at 11am at the Centre Court.

Festivities include traditional entertainment: Bhangra dancing, dhol drumming, Bharat Natyam (classical Indian dance), sari wrapping demonstrations; henna art, crafts, food and much more!
Burnaby-Edmonds MLA, Raj Chouhan will be on hand to unveil a cultural display panel.
The display panel provides relevant information about the traditions and celebrations surrounding Diwali, and will be available for viewing in the Mall throughout the year.
