Maid Attacked

A 32-year-old Hong Kong housewife was jailed for seven months for branding the arm of her Indonesian maid with a hot iron. Ng Bikman attacked her 24-year-old maid in August after accusing her of letting her eight-month-old son move too close to the iron in his baby walker. The maid was seriously burned. Ng argued the incident happened out of concern and love for her son.
