Surrey job fair offers networking opportunities

People are encouraged to visit the largest career expo in the Lower Mainland. It runs from 10 am to 4 pm at the North Surrey Recreation Centre.

The job fair empowers companies and participants while the business expo provides a platform for businesses, government agencies and industries to showcase their products and services and opportunities for networking.

The 9th Mega Job Fair & Business Expo 2016 is the largest career expo in the Lower Mainland. It will take place at North Surrey Recreation Centre at 10275 City Parkway on August 4th from 10 AM - 4 PM.

“Our greatest hope and aim for the event is to unite employers and employees, and build a progressive and collective network and community that values diversity and service – because that’s what PICS Society is all about”, said Satbir Cheema, Director of PICS Employment Programs and Planning.

Katarina Low, Program Assistant and Resource Advisor for the BEST Program, and Event Coordinator for the Mega Job Fair & Business Expo, agrees.

“Whether you are looking for a job, networking opportunities, or ways to showcase your products and services, the Mega Job Fair & Business Expo is the place to be!” says Low.
